Harry Kewell's Liverpool career is over and he will not be offered a new deal by Rafa Benitez at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old, who made a controversial switch to the club from Leeds United in the summer of 2003, has been plagued by injuries during his time at Anfield and he has not played this season since the home defeat to Barnsley in the FA Cup back in February.
Kewell has featured in his fair share of finals for the side but has limped out of three and come on as a substitute in a fourth. And his 138 appearances have netted 36 goals with some reports suggesting he has cost the club in the region of £157,000 a game.
There will be no shortage of takers for the Australian and Juventus are said to be among the early favorites to land him on a free transfer.
