Birmingham chairman David Gold has told Wigan boss Steve Bruce to name who he has a problem with on the St Andrews club's board.
The Blues chief has reacted angrily to comments made by Bruce that he would not have much sympathy for the board if they were relegated following his acrimonious departure to the JJB Stadium earlier in the season.
Bruce was made to pay £300,000 to the Blues for image rights following his move to take over at Wigan and he does not seem to have forgiven somebody at City. However Gold has urged him to stop targeting the board as a whole and clarify who his criticisms are really aimed at.
"Steve has consistently made attacks on the board," Gold said. "Does he hold all seven of us responsible including Jack Wiseman, who is 90, or just some of us?
"Come on Steve, show some courage. Name names, anything else is cowardly.
"The truth is we have done nothing to be ashamed of. We treated him generously and acted more than properly.
"We reduced substantially what we were owed on his image rights and told him to pay £300,000 over three years because we have shareholders to think about."
