Britain's coxless four have been forced to replace injured bowman Tom James ahead of the season's first World Cup event in Munich.
James, who has an unspecified injury, was named only last week in a new-look crew expected to compete in three World Cup regattas before the Olympics.
Wales' Tom Lucy has been called up to take James' seat in the four while Alex Partridge, who James replaced, will stay in the eight.
"Tom James has picked up a minor problem so we're playing it safe", said GB performance director David Tanner.
James is expected to be back in action after between four and five days' rest, allowing plenty of time for the four to prepare for the next World Cup event, starting in Lucerne on 30 May.
