Former Olympic 400m hurdles champion Ed Moses has been recruited to UK Athletics' panel that will review the treatment of drug cheats.
Moses, a staunch anti-doping campaigner, will join a team headed by Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson and also features Colin Jackson.
Their task is to come up with recommendations on how to handle athletes after a doping ban.
The 'task force' was set up following the debacle when UK Athletics failed to prevent Dwain Chambers from competing at the World Indoor Championships.
Among ideas being discussed by the review panel is for a probation period for drugs cheats in which they would not be allowed to represent the British team.
They should report back in August.
Grey-Thompson said: "There's no point me making recommendations that go against international laws because UK Athletics would be back in court."
