Frank Rijkaard refused to discuss his Barcelona future after the 4-1 thrashing at Real Madrid which cost them second place in La Liga.
The Dutch tactician has been under pressure for most of the season and his situation got worse on Wednesday at the Bernabeu when goals from Raul, Arjen Robben, Gonzalo Higuain and Ruud van Nistelrooy secured newly-crowned champions Madrid a convincing win in 'El Classico'.
Thierry Henry scored a fine consolation goal late on, while Barca's misery was compounded when Xavi was sent off for two bookable offences.
Following last week's Champions League semi-final exit at the hands of Manchester United, Barca will have to qualify for next season's tournament as this defeat, coupled with Villarreal's win, means they can no longer secure the runners up spot in La Liga.
"It is clear that we played a bad game," said Rijkaard.
"Today you have seen the difference between a team who have won something and a team who have suffered and have not won anything.
"The team have suffered a lot and it has been one of the worst moments of the season. As a team we did not show much force.
"In games like that we all have to fight and by that I mean attack and defend together, and we have not done it well."
He added: "I don't want to talk about humiliation or ridicule. We have played badly they have been better.
"It is blow and is another addition to the disappointments that we have had. Everyone in the dressing room is very sad."
When asked about his future, Rijkaard said: "The easiest thing is not to continue, but I am part of the group, I am the coach and I have no ideas in this regard.
"In these moments I only want to talk about the game."
