Wigan boss Steve Bruce insists his side will give 100% against Man Utd on Sunday when the Premier League title race is decided.

United need to beat Latics to claim a 10th Premier League crown but if they slip up then Chelsea will lift the trophy if they better Sir Alex Ferguson's outfit's result.

But Bruce, a former United captain, claims he side will not do Fergie any favours at the JJB Stadium.

"Everybody who knows me knows me better than that," he said.

"What am I going to say to the team? 'Just roll over and let Man United win'? That's not going to happen. Make no mistake, we'll be trying our utmost."

Wigan are safe from relegation after an improved run of results since Bruce took charge towards the end of last year.
