Blackburn, Aston Villa and Portsmouth are hoping to capture PSV Eindhoven striker Jefferson Farfan in the summer.
The 23-year-old Peruvian striker impressed the Premiership trio in his club's Uefa Cup last 16 clash with Tottenham, where he scored the goal which gave PSV the first-leg advantage at White Hart Lane.
Farfan is thought to be ready for a move after four years with the Dutch champions and, with only two years left on his contract, could be in a position to force his way out even if PSV do not want to sell.
Blackburn boss Mark Hughes is looking to add quality signings to his squad for another crack at the top six next season and has succeeded in getting the best out of South American talent such as Roque Santa Cruz.
Aston Villa have also been tracking Farfan this season while Pompey are said to be the third club in the mix for the PSV star's services.
