Neil Warnock has revealed that James Scowcroft and Lee Hills will miss Crystal Palace's play-off second leg at Bristol City on Tuesday.
Scowcroft, who has been sidelined since the end of March, returned to action as a substitute in Saturday's 2-1 first leg defeat at Selhurst Park but suffered a recurrence of his hamstring problem and is out of the game at Ashton Gate.
Hills picked up a training ground injury last week and Warnock has ruled him out, while both players would also miss the Wembley final if the Eagles progress. Paul Ifill is a slight doubt for the game with Kyel Reid looking set to start in place.
Warnock said: "Paul was a little bit stiff on Saturday. We didn't really want to push him too hard as he had a little bit of a problem last week but I think he will be ok on that, we will know more later today.
"Lee Hills hurt his ankle and knee in training last week so I think he will be out for the rest of the season."
Meanwhile, Warnock hit out at Bristol City for celebrating the first leg win as if they had already gone through and backed his team to surprise them.
"When everyone thinks you are out it's a great challenge to go and pit your wits against 20,000 fans and an opposing team who already think they are there. It's not beyond us," he added.
"I don't think we need any more motivation - apart from getting a deckchair out they couldn't have done much more. I thought they were arrogant and I don't think you expect that in professional football."
