Luis Boa Morte is set to hold crunch future talks with West Ham after admitting the club's boo boys have hampered his performances.
The 30-year-old Portugal winger has been singled out by a section of the Upton Park faithful in the second half of the season as Alan Curbishley's side limped home to finish in a respectable 10th position in the Premier League.
As a result Boa Morte, who has scored just one goal in 40 appearances for the Hammers after joining them from Fulham in a £5million deal, is considering if he would be better off securing a move to a new club.
He said: "Nobody likes to work and get booed every single week when you're name is read out, when you touch the ball, so of course it is not a good situation.
"If the supporters boo me then I have to play against them and the opposition.
"When I came here, I came in good spirits and to reach my targets and help the team achieve their targets as well.
"But when I get booed after 30 minutes then this is a situation that doesn't make me happy."
He added: "I've worked hard over the last eight weeks while they've been booing me.
"My team-mates have been brilliant because they know that it was unfair from the supporters.
"It makes me feel sad but I'm never going to throw the towel in.
"I will sit down with the chairman and the manager and speak to them about it and find the best solution.
"I've got two years left at West Ham but of course I don't like the situation and we'll see what happens in the summer."
