Juventus' highly-rated Italian prospect Davide Lanzafame is reportedly set to join West Ham on a season-long loan deal next term.
The 21-year-old striker has reportedly been earmarked as a summer target by the Londoners' new Italian sporting director Gianluca Nani, who will tie up the loose ends of the loan switch in the near future.
Lanzafame, who developed through the youth system at Juventus, spent last season on loan with Serie B side Bari where he scored ten goals and subsequently earned a place in Italy's Under-21 squad.
Bari coach and former Juve legend Anontio Conte hailed the impact Lanzafame had on his club and likened the youngster to Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo.
"Lanzafame has improved tactically," he told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
"He is explosive, he sniffs the goal, and imposes his speed outside the area. If he improves and learns he can become like Cristiano Ronaldo."
