Tony Mowbray has been named Championship Manager of the Season as West Brom striker Kevin Phillips won the Player of the Year award.
Baggies boss Mowbray won the award at the annual League Managers' Association Awards on Monday evening after guiding the club back into the Premier League in his first full season at the Hawthorns and securing the Championship title as well.
Veteran hitman Phillips won the official Player of the Year award, which is based on votes from the West Brom players, following a record of 24 goals from just 30 starts this term.
It is the latest award the former Sunderland and Aston Villa man has picked up following on from the FourFourTwo Championship Player-of-the-Year prize, being named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year and finishing as the top striker in the Actim stats index.
Left-back Paul Robinson and midfielder Robert Koren were runners-up as Mowbray heaped praise on the impact Phillips has had at the club.
He said: "It means a lot to any player when their team-mates respect the contribution they've made.
"I'd say it's not just Kevin's performances during games that have won him this award, but also his personality.
"Hopefully, he'll be high in the running for the award next season."
