Ipswich boss Jim Magilton insists the door is open for Richard Wright to make an emotional return to the club from West Ham.
The former England keeper is behind Robert Green in the pecking order at Upton Park after turning down a move back to Portman Road from Everton last summer.
But Magilton claims he would welcome Wright back and has also refused to end his interest in released Aston Villa keeper Thomas Sorensen.
Magilton told the Evening Star: "Sorensen's agent told us he was not prepared to drop down a division and wanted to stay in the Premier League. If he became available and wanted to come to us we would speak to him."
He added: "If Wrighty wants to come and play he would be welcomed back. A lot of players are prepared to sit in the reserves and not drop down and it baffles me."
