Bolton and Blackburn will battle it out for Crewe goalkeeper Owain fon Williams who is set to reject a new deal with the Railwaymen.

Crewe are very keen to keep hold of the highly-rated 21-year-old and an offer is on the table in the hope he will commit his future to the League One club.

However, it looks as though Williams will turn down the contract and instead hold out for a move to the Premiership with both Blackburn and Bolton known to be keen.

Crewe are hoping to open talks with another unnamed goalkeeper this week which suggests they are resigned to losing Williams over the summer months.
