Celtic striker Derek Riordan would be drawn to Leeds over Burnley due to the size of the club according to reports.

The former Hibs man is desperate to get away from Parkhead where he has not started a league game since December and he would apparently be interested in a move to Leeds over Burnley who are also said to be after the player.

Leeds have also been linked with free agent Andy Cole who was on loan at Burnley last season, if they fail in their efforts to land Kevin Phillips, but there are many Leeds fans who would much prefer to see the club splash out on 25-year-old Riordan than spend a fortune in landing 34-year-old Phillips or 36-year-old Cole.
