Aston Villa target William Kvist has told VfB Stuttgart fans that he is happy in Germany, despite interest in the Danish international.

Villa have been linked to the holding midfielder, described as a perfect mumber six by Stuttgart coach Bruno Labbadia, ahead of his return clash with former club FC Copenhagen tonight.

Paul Lambert is on the lookout for a defensive midfielder with experience and Kvist is currently rated as one of the best in the Bundesliga, outside of their Champions League-qualified clubs.

The 27-year-old joined Stuttgart from Copenhagen in 2011 for £3million and is now valued at double that fee, although he sounds like he is in no hurry to leave Germany before his current contract expires in 2015.

He said: "The weather is better, the cars are 300 percent more expensive in Denmark and the nature here is very beautiful."
