QPR boss Harry Redknapp is being linked with a move for Aston Villa defender Richard Dunne who is set to be released by the Villans.
The Republic of Ireland international stopper was beset by injury problems last season and did not make a single appearance for the struggling West Midlands outfit.
Redknapp has tried to sign Dunne in the past when he was Tottenham Hotspur boss but he opted for Villa instead.
Redknapp is looking to another make a move for the defender this summer now that Dunne has recovered from a lengthy groin injury.
Dunne will get a chance to prove his fitness when he lines up for the Irish in Sunday's friendly international against Georgia almost 12 months after his last game against Italy at Euro 2012.
