Second striker set for Villa exit

Stoke City are being linked with a move for Aston Villa striker Marlon Harewood following their promotion to the Premiership.

Potters boss Tony Pulis knows he needs goals if Stoke are to stay in the Premiership and he looks set to turn his attentions to former West Ham United striker Harewood.

Harewood only joined Villa last summer but he struggled for regular first-team football and boss Martin O'Neill will be happy to let him go if he receives a good enough offer.

O'Neill has already sold striker Luke Moore to newly promoted West Brom and it looks as though Harewood could follow him out of the exit door and head for Stoke.
