Aston Villa still have doubts over the fitness of James Collins as he struggles with a groin injury ahead of the Tottenham game.
Collins was forced to miss the 1-1 draw with Burnley last week because of the problem and he is again facing a race against time to make the game against Tottenham.
The defender has been a revelation for Villa since arriving from West Ham in the summer and boss Martin O'Neill is keen to get him back in the side as soon as possible.
O'Neill said: said: "What James has done for us so far hasn't surprised me. He is a quality centre-back, brave, and he can play the ball as well.
"I couldn't have asked much more of him but I would say he is a doubt still at the moment for the weekend and it (the groin) is something we will keep an eye on."
