Montpellier's Younes Belhanda has revealed a switch to the Premier League is his "first choice" and has welcomed Aston Villa's interest
The Moroccan playmaker is set to leave Montpellier this summer and chairman Louis Nicollin has claimed Villa are one of five clubs to have registered an interest in Belhanda.
Italian pair AC Milan and Inter Milan are thought to be keen, while Spanish side Atletico Madrid and Turkish giants Galatasaray are also believed to be interested in the 23-year-old, but Belhanda has his sights set on a move to the Premier League.
"I am definitely aware that there are five clubs with serious interest in me," said Belhanda. "The president told me how much I will cost for any team that wants me.
"I have told everyone that England will be my first choice.
"Aston Villa is a great club with a big history playing in the best league in the world, so let's see what will happen."
It is thought that Montpellier value Belhanda at around £12million and it seems as if Villa are leading the race for his signature.
