Aston Villa are leading the race to sign Miguel Veloso from Sporting Lisbon but face competition from three other clubs.
According to reports in Portugal, Veloso is '100 per cent' certain to be playing in the Premiership next season and now it is just a question of where he plays his football.
Villa, Arsenal, Manchester City and Bolton are all keen on the player but the latter are unwilling to meet the £12m asking price making it a three-horse race.
Negotiations are said to be continuing with all the clubs mentioned but it is thought Villa, who are looking to replace Gareth Barry, are favourites to land him.
If a deal goes through for Veloso we will send out mobile alerts on our new sms service.
