Aston Villa have announced they will be hosting Champions League quarter-finalists Malaga in a friendly on August 10.
The clash with the Spanish side completes a pre-season schedule for Villa that begins with their return to training at Bodymoor Heath on July 1.
Paul Lambert's squad then head to Germany on July 7 for a week-long camp which includes games against Rodinghausen, Paderborn and Bochum.
A series of domestic friendlies at Wycombe, Luton, Crewe and Walsall follows, taking Villa up to the end of July, before they travel to Dublin to take on Shamrock Rovers on August 4.
