Goalkeeper Brad Guzan has ruled out a move away from Aston Villa after being linked with a move to Arsenal this week.
The 29-year-old United States international custodian only signed a four-year contract at Villa in the summer and has been in great form of late, keeping two clean sheets in his last three appearances while he helped the club achieve big wins over Arsenal and Manchester City.
The Gunners, who were linked to a number of goalkeepers this summer after claims that boss Arsene Wenger was looking for a more reliable option than Polish stopper Wojciech Szczesny, have reportedly expressed a desire to sign Guzan in recent days.
However the player appears more than happy to repay the faith Villa boss Paul Lambert has shown in him by rebuffing any advances from Arsenal.
"Aston Villa, they've stuck by me, especially the manager," said Guzan ahead of the USA's World Cup qualifier against Jamaica on Friday.
"He's given me a chance to play consistent football in Europe. It's always nice when you're linked with other teams, but for me, I'm very happy at Aston Villa."
