Aston Villa are set to be without strike duo Gabby Agbonlahor and Andreas Weimann for Saturday's visit of Cardiff City.
Agbonlahor missed last week's goalless draw at West Ham with an ankle injury and has failed to sufficiently overcome the problem in time to be considered for the Villa Park clash against the Bluebirds.
Weimann limped off with a hamstring problem at Upton Park and the young Austrian hitman is also definitely missing from boss Paul Lambert's plans.
Fabian Delph could return after missing the Hammers' game because of illness, while Antonio Luna and Joe Bennett also remain doubts.
"I've got a few lads that are still struggling," said Lambert.
"It is the same lads as last week and we will have to see how Andi is as well.
"Andi is a doubt with his hamstring. I will have to see tomorrow how Fabian Delph is."
Libor Kozak and Nicklas Helenius are poised to come into the Villa side and Lambert has urged them to take their chance with both hands.
He added on the club's website: "Football is great because the wheel always turns. You always get an opportunity to try and get in and when the opportunity is there you have to go and take it.
"It's up to the individual to go and take it.
"I have confidence in Libor and Nicklas, no doubt whatsoever."
