Young determined to see off old club

Ashley Young has warned old club Aston Villa that Manchester United are out to end their winning run in the Midlands on Sunday.

The winger, who left Villa for United in 2011, believes his side's Champions League victory over Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday will give the team confidence heading into Sunday's big clash.

United are aiming to respond following their recent back-to-back defeats at Old Trafford in the Premier League at the hands of Everton and Newcastle United and they have an excellent recent record at Villa.

Young is determined to help his side put one over his old club, saying on MUTV: "We want to get back to winning [every week] and there's no better place to go than Villa Park on Sunday and hopefully get another three points.

"If we put on a display like we did against Shakhtar then we should be able to do that."
