Davids laments costly losses

Edgar Davids believes Barnet have made their fight against relegation harder by not beating the teams around them in the table.

Last Friday's 2-1 defeat to fellow strugglers Bristol Rovers pushed the Bees back into the drop zone despite an improved performance.

Three points separate the bottom six sides in npower League Two but Davids' side have not recorded a victory against any of their relegation rivals.

When asked if the results were frustrating, Davids told the Barnet Times: "Of course. It is the same old song and you make it harder on yourself not winning those games.

"Against Bristol Rovers we played very well and I thought we were the better team. But you have to be clinical against those sides.

"We still have big games ahead but can only focus on our next competitor."
