Boss ponders defensive options

BarnsleyBarnsley boss Simon Davey will have to split up his defence for the clash with Crystal Palace as Darren Moore is suspended.

Moore was sent off in the clash with Doncaster meaning he will miss the trip to Selhurst Park on Saturday evening.

Bobby Hassell looks likely to come in on the right of defence so that Steven Foster can move across to the middle of the back line. Hassell has been out of the side since losing his place ahead of the Derby County match.

Rob Kozluk is expected to continue on the right as Davey considers his options for the trip and looks to build on the win over Doncaster last time out.

Meanwhile, Jamal Campbell-Ryce and Iain Hume will race back from World Cup duties to be in the squad. Campbell-Ryce will catch a flight from the West Indies on Thursday and Hume jets back from Canada on the same day.
