Davey trials duo

Former Manchester United winger Sean Evans and ex-Hull man Anthony Hilton were given a run out for Barnsley's reserves last night.

Both are looking for new clubs and boss Simon Davey will be waiting for the report on the pair from coach Kelham O'Hanlon before deciding on his next step.

Winger Evans was released from Old Trafford in the summer and had a spell on trial at Inverness Caledonian Thistle, while midfielder Hilton has been on the books at newly-promoted Hull.

Neither man could do much about the reserves result as the second string went down 4-0 at Hartlepool.
