Barnsley boss Simon Davey is confident that defender Rob Kozluk will sign a one year extension to his current deal.
Davey has been busy tying down his experienced players to new deals at the club and Kozluk is the last of those players who has yet to confirm his future at Oakwell. The Tykes manager though believes he will sign a new deal as soon as he gets back from his holidays.
"I have spoken to Rob and he is on holiday at the moment, but he's back in early this week and I expect him to sign his contract," Davey told the Sheffield Star.
"Rob's an experienced player and an integral part of our team. He played in an important position for us at left back last season and I felt his performances warranted a contract extension.
"It's great news but all the other players have signed their contracts as well, it's good to have consistency and stability, especially with a new season not far away.
"Jon Macken has signed his new contract and I felt he played really well last season, he's scored some important goals. Hopefully, we can find a new striker, negotiations are still ongoing."
