Simon Davey has been handed a boost with the news that Jamil Adam and Jordan Hibbert have both signed professional terms at the club.

Barnsley boss Davey will be hoping one if not both of the young prospects can push their way into the first-team reckoning next season.

He told the Sheffield Star: "We are delighted that Jamil and Jordan have both signed professional contracts, they're both very promising footballers.

"We've got a good crop of young players coming through at the club, it's up to them to try and break into the team next season."
