Barnsley skipper Stephen Foster is fit again for the trip to Crystal Palace after missing the draw with Newcastle due to a cut eye.
The defender needed six stitches in the wound and forced to watch from the sidelines as the Reds held the high-flying Magpies last weekend.
Bobby Hassell filled in for Foster at the back in that game and capped an impressive display with an 87th minute equaliser.
Hassell himself has only recently returned to the first-team after an Achilles problem.
Manager Mark Robins has no other new injury or suspension worries as they look to extend their unbeaten league run to seven games.
