Barnsley keeper Heinz Muller has completed a move to FSV Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga for a fee thought to be around £600,000.

The 31-year-old leaves the club after two years as the number one and 69 first-team appearances for the side but his exit leaves the door open for Luke Steele to claim the jersey.

The 24-year-old recently signed a new two-year deal with the club and he is set to achieve his goal of being the side's first-choice keeper.
