Striker hopes pressure eases

BarnsleyBarnsley striker Jamal Campbell-Ryce is hoping the victory against Doncaster at the weekend will see the pressure ease on Simon Davey.

It had looked like being another poor day at the office until the sending off of Darren Moore after 50 minutes appeared to galvanise the side and despite being a goal down they fought back to win 4-1.

The Jamaica international hopes the result will now ease the pressure on the boss, he said:"Everyone at our club has been under pressure, not just the gaffer.

"He has probably come in for some unfair criticism especially considering what he was able to achieve last year in the FA Cup.

"Hopefully the critics will lay off him now. This result had been coming and hopefully now we can kick on from this result."
