Barnsley striker Ian Hume is back working with the first team as pre-season training starts and he is hoping to get back in the side.

Hume suffered an horrific injury last November when, after a clash with Sheffield United's Chris Morgan, he fractured his skull and suffered internal bleeding which led to him being rushed to hospital where he spent some days in intensive care.

The 25-year-old Canada international has been making steady progress from the injury and has going through his paces at Barnsley's training ground as he looks to get his career back on track.
