Tykes await Devaney developments

Blackpool are still on the trail of Martin Devaney, despite having had their initial bid for the Barnsley winger turned down.

Seasiders boss Simon Grayson is still interested in the player and has seemingly not yet turned his attention elsewhere.

Asked if his interest in Devaney was over, Grayson answered: "No. We are always looking to sign players.

"We're obviously looking to get players in who are going to make us better all over the football pitch and we've still got one or two options to develop on.

"Things will be governed by how much you are going to have to pay for certain players and we have to go down the line of making sure they are the right ones for us financially.

"As always we'll have to wait and see but the interest in him (Martin Devaney) hasn't died."
