Barnsley winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce looks likely to miss the start of pre-season after being called up to play for Jamaica.

Jamaica have announced their squad for the forthcoming Gold Cup in the United States next month and Campbell is in that squad meaning he will miss the start of the club's pre-season preparations.

It was revealed on Monday that 26-year-old Campbell-Ryce, who joined the Tykes from Southend United in 2007, has decided to stay at Oakwell and will sign a new long-term deal when he returns from his holiday.
