Capello backs Milan for glory

England coach Fabio Capello is backing AC Milan to snatch the Serie A title away from their rivals Inter in this coming season.

The Italian tactician has taken time away from preparing his Three Lions squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers to assess the goings on in his homeland ahead of the new campaign.

Capello feels the Rossoneri's additions of Ronaldinho and Mathieu Flamini will be a big boost for Carlo Ancelotti's side and punters will no doubt be interested in his comments as they look to take advantage of a £25 free bet.

"Milan are the favourites for the Scudetto," Capello told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"They are also completely focused on the League. Europe can wait and Ancelotti will use his best side in Serie A.

"It's lucky for Milan that Ronaldinho is going to the Olympic Games. He will return match-fit and motivated after a tough year. This is the right launch-pad for him to return to orbit."

New Inter coach Jose Mourinho will no doubt have other ideas in the race for the Serie A title as he looks to emulate his first season championship success at Chelsea in Italy.
