Paul Scharner says he firmly believes Wigan have the ability to take at least a point from Chelsea at the JJB Stadium this weekend.Scharner is certainly not running scared of the Blues despite their impressive 4-0 hammering of Portsmouth on Sunday, and feels Wigan have enough quality to gain at least a point from the match.
Fans looking to follow Scharner's advice and use their free £25 bet on backing the Latics, will also be buoyed by the most recent meeting between the two sides - a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge in April.
Scharner told the Evening Post: "This was always a game which people would look forward to and it should be a good game.
"We got a point the last time we played Chelsea and I'm looking forward to playing against them again - who knows we might get all three this time.
"Why can't we get something from the game?
"The gaffer has put together a strong squad and I think it should be possible for us to finish in the top half of the table this season."
