Birmingham have allowed striker Marcus Bent to join Queens Park Rangers on loan until the end of the season.

The 32-year-old, who has played for 12 clubs in his professional career, will link up with his new team-mates at Loftus Road immediately and could make his debut in this weekend's Championship match against Peterborough.

Bent's arrival at Rangers coincides with R's striker Alessandro Pellicori joining Serie B outfit AC Mantova and he will hope to do better than he did in a spell at Championship rivals Middlesbrough, where he failed to score in eight matches earlier this season.
