Blues hit out at Latics

Birmingham want compensation from Wigan after Blues Academy coach Will Royall made the switch to the JJB Stadium.

Royall will link up with former St Andrews chief Steve Bruce and number two Eric Black again but Birmingham co-owner David Sullivan is getting sick of it.

Sullivan received £3m compensation when Bruce left but he claims other staff have been "poached".

Sullivan said: "The Premier League states you are not allowed to poach other people's staff. What do we want? Compensation. It's not sour grapes.

"All of these people had to be replaced and most have cost us."
