Birmingham have been linked with a £4million move for Barcelona's former Arsenal playmaker Alexsandr Hleb.
Hleb joined the Catalan giants in 2008 in an £11.8million deal but the Belarus star failed to earn a place in the Barca starting line-up and spent last season on loan at Bundesliga side Stuttgart.
The Spanish champions are keen to trim their wage bill after huge debts were revealed and Hleb looks certain to be on the move this summer.
Russian radio station Championat has claimed Barcelona have offered Hleb to Premier League duo Birmingham and Fulham, with Barca willing to allow Hleb to leave for a fee of £4million.
