Blues target winger swoop

Birmingham are being linked with a move for Chelsea winger Scott Sinclair, who they hope to sign on loan.

Blues boss Alex McLeish is keen to bolster his attacking options and is looking into the possibility of taking Sinclair, who is struggling for first-team action at Stamford Bridge.

The 19-year-old has yet to figure under Luiz Felipe Scolari in the Premiership and has been told he is free to leave the club on loan now that they are out of the Carling Cup, with Wolves and Crystal Palace also in the hunt.

Palace had him on loan last season and the player has also had spells with Charlton and Plymouth.
