Bruce tipped to land Kapo

BirminghamWigan are keen on Birmingham forward Olivier Kapo and could offer striker Antoine Sibierski in part exchange.

It was Latics boss Steve Bruce who brought Kapo to England last summer when he was still in charge of Birmingham and reports claim he wants to be re-united with him at the JJB Stadium.

Kapo could be on the move following relegation to the Championship and Bruce is ready to offer cash and Sibierski in an attempt to lure Blues into selling the former Juventus man.

The Frenchman made 32 appearance for Blues last season but looks to be heading for the exit door with Fabrice Muamba, who is set to join Bolton for £5million.

Bruce is also keen on the England Under-21 international, but it looks as though Bolton have won the race for his signature after holding talks at the weekend.
