Injuries hampered Queudrue's progress at St Andrews while he was never really given a chance to hold down a regular first-team place in his favoured left-back position once David Murphy was signed from Hibernian in January.
Queudrue's future at Birmingham looked untenable when co-owner David Sullivan singled him out for criticism after relegation back to the Championship was confirmed on the final day of the Premier League. Sullivan later apologised, but Setanta Sports claims the former Middlesbrough man will be allowed to leave for nothing if a club shows an interest in him.
Glasgow Rangers have been linked to Queudrue in the past and boss Walter Smith could firm up his interest on the back of this news.
