New signing Craig Gardner is looking to make his Birmingham debut against Tottenham at St Andrews on Saturday.

The midfielder made a £3million switch across the city from deadly rivals Aston Villa this week and is the only addition to Alex McLeish's squad ahead of the game against Spurs from the one which crashed 3-0 at Chelsea in midweek.

Cameron Jerome is fit having suffered no reaction to his ankle injury after making his comeback against Chelsea, but Kevin Phillips, Lee Carsley, Garry O'Connor and Teemu Tainio are all missing.
