Benni McCarthy has denied talk of a rift with Sam Allardyce but says he could leave Blackburn this summer.
McCarthy failed to impress last season and there had been speculation of a fall with Allardyce after he failed to earn a regular place in the Rovers side, something the striker has denied.
"I don't listen much to what is said in the newspapers," McCarthy revealed. "I have my own character, but nobody can doubt my professionalism in the game."
However, the South African has hinted he could move on during the close season and says a number of clubs are keen on him.
"I have scheduled a meeting with the club and I'm open to anything," the striker added. "A lot can happen, but I do not want to think too far ahead.
"Some clubs [in Spain and Portugal] have asked about me and that is normal because they are familiar with me. They would make good destination if I eventually decide to leave the Premier League."
Following the departures of Roque Santa Cruz and Matt Derbyshire, Allardyce will be facing a striker crisis if McCarthy leaves as well.
