Dunn delight for Rovers

Last Updated: Fri, 08 Nov 2013 10:47

Blackburn's longest-serving player David Dunn is in line for his first appearance since August against Brighton on the south coast.

The Rovers skipper had a knee operation after scoring in a 4-1 win over Bolton, arguably the best performance from Gary Bowyer's men this term, and has been eased back slowly over recent weeks.

There is more good news in defence as Grant Hanley can be selected again following a three-match ban and Matt Killgallon (hip) is considered to be fine, although full-back Tommy Spurr (ankle) will be monitored nearer to kick-off and striker DJ Campbell is again banned.

Experienced midfielder Dickson Etuhu (knee) is another step nearer a comeback after playing 90 minutes for the Under-21s in midweek while playmaker Ruben Rochina (shoulder), back in full training on Thursday, could return after the international break.
