Greece ace cool on Rovers switch

BlackburnOlympiacos defender Vassilis Torosidis says there has not been any contact from Blackburn but admits he would be interested in a move.

Rovers have been strongly linked with a move for the 23-year-old, but despite all the rumours, he says that Blackburn have not made an offer for him as yet.

"Nobody has contacted me and no document has arrived from Blackburn," he revealed. "It is only rumours and it is not up to me to go somewhere. I have a contract with Olympiacos."

However, Torosidis says he would be open to a move to Blackburn if Rovers boss Paul Ince made a bid.

"If Blackburn or another club has an agreement with Olympiacos then I will speak with them," he added. "Blackburn is an interesting club. They finished seventh last season but the important thing is they play in the Premier League and I like English football.

"The top players of Europe and the world play there, but as I said, there is no offer from England or any country."
