Ince eyes striker swoop

Blackburn boss Paul Ince is being linked with a January swoop for Red Bull Salzburg's giant striker Marc Janko.

The 25-year-old has been in great form this season and after helping fire Salzburg to the top of the table in Austria, a number of Premiership clubs are starting to show an interest.

Rovers are one of those clubs and Ince is said to be keeping tabs on him as doubts continue to surround the future of Roque Santa and Janko could be an option if the Paraguay ace had to be sold.

Rovers scouts saw him score a hat-trick at the weekend and the striker looks to be one of Ince's top targets.
