Colin Kazim-Richards has brushed off the off-field turmoil surrounding Blackburn and insists the club is not in crisis.

The on-loan Galatasaray forward enjoyed a flying start to life at Ewood Park after joining in the summer with two goals in as many games before suffering damage to his posterior cruciate knee ligament.

He returned to action as a substitute in Wednesday night's goalless draw with Nottingham Forest, Rovers' third game without a win and second since the end of Steve Kean's troubled tenure as manager.

Despite these problems Blackburn lie three points from the npower Championship summit, a fact Kazim Richards takes solace in.

He said: "We haven't won the last three games. From the start of this season, whatever's been going on has been going on.

"Our manager has gone, we've had injuries and some more injuries - changes with everything and we're still only three points from the top. Come on, everybody's going on like there's a crisis. There's no crisis - it's football."
