Rovers boss Steve Kean could name an unchanged line-up for the third straight game as Manchester United visit Ewood Park tonight.
Kean is expected to keep faith with the side beaten 2-1 at Bolton last week - a result which ended a run of back-to-back wins for Rovers in the Premier League - their first since 2010.
Midfielder David Dunn is pushing for a recall in the middle of the park, but Morten Gamst Pedersen has not let anyone down recently and his ability to fling the ball in from long throw-ins could be a real menace to United and their young keeper David De Gea.
Martin Olsson picked up a knock against Bolton last week but is expected to shake it off in time for the clash.
Gael Givet remains doubtful for Blackburn, having aggravated a slight hamstring problem while warming up before the victory over Sunderland.
Michel Salgado (rib) and Vince Grella (hip) remain the only players on the sidelines at Ewood Park.
